Afghanistan Grey
A monochromatic theme with subtle terrain
This is a basic grey map of the provinces and districts of Afghanistan. It includes a background of subtle hillshades generated from Shuttle Radar data.
This map was designed with the intent of having further data displayed on top of it. The goal is to provide useful information without being distracting or overbearing.
This map was generated using a three-part process. The hillshade and border tiles were each rendered individually using different tools. The vector tiles were then overlaid onto the raster tiles to create the third, final tile set.
